I want to share with you a radical truth that sits at the heart of my work as the founder of the Institute for Intuitive Intelligence: you are the oracle. Not a psychic, not a fortune teller, not anyone outside of you.
When we hand over our power to another to tell us our future, we are engaging in a dangerous act of black magic, not because someone is casting curses, but because of how quantum reality functions.
At its core, the universe is participatory. The way we observe it, the beliefs we hold, the words we allow to take root in us, they all shape what becomes real. That is the essence of collapsing the wave function.
Language is not just communication. It is the fourth dimension.
It is the bridge between pure possibility, the fifth dimension, and the material world we live in. Through language, feeling, and emotion, we give instruction to our subconscious, and from there, reality is born.
When a fortune teller, psychic, or healer tells you something about your life, you may feel relief. You may believe them and in doing so, you collapse infinite possibility into a single path. Their words become the instruction your subconscious accepts, and your actions begin to shape themselves around that belief.
This isn’t destiny, it’s spell casting. The moment you believe someone else’s words more than your own intuitive knowing, you collapse the wave function at one narrow level of possibility, shutting the door on countless others.
If you’ve ever heard of the double slit experiment, you’ll know why this is so profound.
This experiment has been repeated thousands of times. It shows us that when a particle moves from point A to point B without observation, it travels along every possible path. However when it is observed, it behaves in accordance with the belief of the observer.
If the scientist believes in a Newtonian reality of cause and effect, the particle moves in a straight, linear way. If the scientist believes in the quantum truth that all time and space exist in the now, then the particle takes every possible path.
This is the observer effect. Iit reveals a simple truth: our observation, our belief, collapses all other possibilities into one.
This means there is no predetermined, fated reality for you. Every choice you make shifts your path. Every act of observation, every belief you choose to hold, reshapes the universe around you. When you go to a psychic and their words “come true,” it is not proof that they saw your destiny. It is proof that you accepted their spell and acted in alignment with it, often without even realising.
Intuition, on the other hand, does not give you the full map. It gives you one step. Then it waits for you to act. And when you do, it offers the next step. This is the participatory nature of the universe.
So what does it take to be your own oracle?
It requires what I call spiritual sweat; the willingness to do the work, to regulate your nervous system and to create the conditions for intuition to land. That means stillness. Silence. Solitude. Withdrawing your attention from the noise of the external world so you can meet your own wisdom.
You won’t get all the answers in one go. The universe does not work that way, but if you can sit in the discomfort of the unknown, instead of running from it, you’ll find that your intuition will land in ways you can trust and act upon. This is the mark of the mystic: the one who is comfortable with the mystery.
Life will not always look the way you think it should. Often, the very thing that seems like the worst moment becomes the greatest blessing. And sometimes the door that closes is the one that saves you. Trust yourself. Trust your deep knowing. Stop collapsing your infinite potential into one narrow path by believing someone else holds the answers for you.
The universe is waiting to support you. It is waiting to feed you the wisdom of the ages. You are the oracle. And the only thing required is your willingness to act, to participate, and to be brave enough to live in the mystery.
