I just got off a Zoom meeting with two beloved students and now co-facilitators, Geno La Placa and Leslie L. Bost. We spent a joyous hour together planning our sold out San Francisco day retreat, You Know What to Do. (If you missed out on the day retreat, you can still join us at the Portal for our conversation on the Science of Intuitive Intelligence.)
I was recently on a call with a wonderful woman who is considering the Certified Intuition Teacher program. She shared that one of the thing she admires about the Institute is how we promote and celebrate our graduates. Whilst I was grateful for this reflection, part of me wondered, how could it be any other way? I created an institute way back in the day (eleven years ago in fact!) because I knew that what was to be created would always be about more than just me. My role as the principal of this Institute is to elevate those who walk through our doors - to nurture them, inspire them, create the conditions for them to rise.
I seize any opportunity to collaborate with our graduates and share their work far and wide. I know this is my dharma. To remind women of who they truly are beyond any doubt, and to ensure they feel supported to fulfil their purpose.
We are celebrating our eleventh anniversary this year! Even writing this brings tears to my eyes. I am grateful to every woman who has dared to step through the Institute's doors and become part of our extraordinary community. It is not my name on the door. It was never meant to be just about me. It is about these women.
All my fiercest love,
